Why Use Sphagnum Moss and Natural Substrate in Your Terrarium?

A quality soil-based substrate ensures proper drainage, aeration, and nutrient availability for your plants and cleaners (such as springtails!) Together, they mimic natural forest floor conditions—supporting plant health, promoting root growth, and maintaining the perfect humidity balance inside your terrarium for inverts! 
 
Note: The natural substrate does not come with cleaners added!  Feel free to add isopods, springtails, or other cleaners of your choice!
